Doug’s fourth book, Unlearning: Leading Change Without Change Resistance, co-authored with Christine Kahane, takes this proven work to all new levels of effective applicability.

Nadia’s  passion is to eliminate preventable medical errors and deaths by  transforming healthcare into a consumer-driven system that delivers  better value for all Americans.  She has worked with over 2,000  physician practices and 15,000 providers to advance them through  graduated levels of success in value-based care environments.  She was  named as one of the Women of Influence honorees for the Indianapolis  Business Journal in 2016, as well as one of the top 40 leaders under 40  in Indianapolis, and one of the top 60 Rising National Healthcare  Leaders Under 40 by Becker’s Healthcare . 

Kevin O'Connor is President and CEO of LifeCenter Northwest, one of the nation's high-performing Organ Procurement Organizations.  Kevin is a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality improvement, having served as the Co-Director of the federally-sponsored Organ Donation and Transplantation Breakthrough Collaboratives.  Kevin is highly skilled in the use of Yes And Leadership mindsets and methods.

 Brian Hebbel is federal procurement expert, consultant, author and trainer. Through his 36 years of Government contracting  expertise, he has provided expert advice and guidance to Government  officials and contractors alike.  Brian is an author of “How to Market  & Sell to the U.S. Government, A View from the Inside” and the visionary leader of new and creative conferences, training seminars and other activities to push the limits of training.  

Dr. Tom Evans is the founding President and CEO of the Iowa Healthcare Collaborative and the Compass Practice Transformation Network.  He leads statewide and national initiatives to support hospitals, clinical practices and other organizations in achieving dramatic improvements and results on hospital patient safety, opioid prescribing and use, and the transition from fee-for-service to value based care.  Dr. Evans and his teams are expert in the use of leadership mindsets and methods to generate results that matter.

 Dr. Washington is  a prominent figure in healthcare transformation serving in the capacity  of thought-leader, advocate, researcher and performance improvement  expert who has worked with healthcare systems, U.S. government  agencies and numerous policymaker groups to ensure that  patient-centered and equitable approaches are at the heart of healthcare  redesign.   Shaped by her passion and belief in social justice,  Knitasha has earned recognition nationally for her work in  quality improvement, patient and family engagement, health equity and  patient safety. 

 Sue Dunn, retired (2020)  CEO of Donor Alliance, had a career of over 35 years in the field of  organ and tissue donation and transplantation.  Creating systems,  processes and workforce engagement to drive performance, Sue led Donor Alliance to being recognized  as a 2018 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awardee, the second OPO to ever receive such an honor.   Sue was also selected as a 2021 recipient of the Baldrige Leadership Award. Each  year, the awards recognize outstanding individuals who embody Baldrige  leadership values and principles, and who have demonstrated outstanding  service to the Baldrige community and beyond. 

 Todd Sorensen is Professor and Senior Executive Associate Dean,  University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and Executive Director,  Alliance for Integrated Medication Management. He has 15 years  experience applying the Signature Style to health care transformation  and academic leadership initiatives. He has taught leadership courses at  the University of Minnesota for nearly 20 years and integrates the  Signature Style into course content. 

Tonya  is the operator of an advisory firm supporting locally-based efforts to  empower residents, boost economic development, and improve the social  determinants of health in under-resourced and historically oppressed  communities. Tonya led federal advocacy and impact investing for Trinity  Health, where most notably she mobilized thousands of healthcare  colleagues in a campaign to pass the Affordable Care Act. A recent  graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work, Tonya is  currently working to become a licensed clinical social worker. She  quickly embraced the  "Signature Style" after working closely with  Dennis in relational organizing efforts in the fall of 2020.

Brian Isetts is a clinician, educator, and health  policy researcher at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy.   While on extended sabbatical at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid  Services (CMS) in Washington, D.C. he served as federal co-lead on the  Partnership for Patients initiative to reduce hospital-acquired adverse  drug events 15.9% across 4,000 U.S. hospitals over a three year period.   Brian has also been serving as a host and coach for relational  organizing events ranging from political campaigns to the #ThisIsOurShot  movement for engaging trusted healthcare professionals and community  leaders in promoting COVID vaccinations.

 After graduating college during the COVID-19 pandemic, Emma supported Democratic campaigns by helping to manage the development of equitable health policy for the Biden-Harris campaign. She then joined with health policy colleagues to lead a relational organizing team, using Yes And Leadership methods to cultivate positive, uplifting and values-driven political action through more than 100 events impacting thousands of people in key battleground states. Emma’s senior thesis about gender-based violence, which was recognized as a distinguished project on civil rights and social change, inspired her to pursue a law degree. She plans to continue advocating for intersectional democracy and justice reform through law, policy, and activism.  

Paul Scanlon has been working in healthcare transformation for over a decade as Senior Consultant for Financial Transformations, Inc (FTI). He specializes in learning collaborative design and facilitation. He has driven improvement as a coach, consultant and program leader. Working with Dennis Wagner, John Scanlon and many others, Paul is a firm believer in the power of the “Signature Style.”  

 Karen Minyard, Ph.D., has led the Georgia Health Policy Center since 2001 and is a research professor with the Department of Public Management and Policy at Georgia State University. Her research interests include financing and evaluation of health-related social policy programs; the role of local health initiatives in access and health improvement; and the role of targeted technical assistance in improving the sustainability, efficiency, and programmatic effectiveness of nonprofit health collaboratives.

In her 35 years at the Environmental  Protection Agency, Kim has led and contributed to national initiatives aimed at improving indoor air quality and protecting groundwater.   She has deep policy and technical expertise, and a reputation for problem solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement.  Most  recently Kim helped coach and lead teams across the Agency in their work to achieve measurable results  through process improvements.
